National Sporting Dog Championship Degree Program

National Sporting Dog's Championship Degree Program is designed to recognize dogs that have proven themselves in NSD Competition Events. The CH, GRCH & HOF Degrees are earned when the following criteria has been met.

·     To earn a NSD CH Degree, a dog must have a 1st place win and 500 Champion Points. (A dog must have scored plus points sometime during the hunt in order for its first place win to count towards a Championship Degree. Points will still be awarded if no plus points are scored but the dog will not be awarded the first place win status towards its Degree.) The Champion Points are accumulative year after year until the CH Degree is earned.

 

·     Once a dog has earned its NSD CH Degree, its points shall be reset to zero and placements will begin to accumulate champion points towards a GRCH Degree. A dog must have two 1st place wins as a champion and 500 Champion Points to earn a NSD GRCH Degree.(A dog must have scored plus points sometime during the hunt in order for its first place win to count towards a Championship Degree. Points will still be awarded if no plus points are scored but the dog will not be awarded the first place win status towards its Degree.)

 

·     Once a dog has earned its NSD GRCH Degree, its points shall be reset to zero and placements will begin to accumulate champion points towards a Hall of Fame Degree. A dog must have three 1st place wins as a Grand Champion and 1000 Champion Points to earn a NSD HOF Degree. (A dog must have scored plus points sometime during the hunt in order for its first place win to count towards a Championship Degree. Points will still be awarded if no plus points are scored but the dog will not be awarded the first place win status towards its Degree.)

 

 

 

Champion Points will be awarded for all NSD Hunts.

Double Champion Points will be awarded for State Hunts.

Double Champion Points will also be awarded for the World Hunt but will ONLY count towards Championship Degrees.
